Marari Beach Resort
Marari Beach Resort is set amidst 30 acres of beautifully laid gardens with tree-rich orchards containing coconut palms, mango, jack and other tropical fruit trees. The thatched villas are spread over extensive landscaped grounds and modeled on the houses of the local fisher-folk. These lead down to a superb expanse of white soft sandy beach, shared only with the local fishing community.

The 62 thatched villas are built in traditional Kerala style with an open-air courtyard, complete with a banana or papaya tree.
Garden Villas, spacious air-conditioned villas furnished in bamboo and twin or king-size beds, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, in-room safe and a sitting area. The bathrooms have open roofed courtyards with hot and cold water showers.
Pool Villas, have the same facilities as the garden villas plus a private garden with large plunge pool.
Marari Beach Resort has a large swimming pool, two tennis courts, badminton court, beach volleyball court as well as an amphitheater, where cultural shows are performed.
Open-air yoga classes are held at sunrise and sunset with a qualified master in attendance. There are daily activities such village walks, cooking demonstrations as well as a cycling tour of the village. Backwater cruises are one of the main attractions. There is a boutique with a good choice of souvenirs, books, clothes, materials and straw items.
In the evenings, most people head for the Club House Bar where there is nightly soft live music under the stars. The hotel prides itself on being a truly ‘green hotel’ with a massive recycling programme using totally natural products.
